This position is responsible for performing Benefit related duties to support clients and works closely with the Benefit Analyst, Benefit Account Managers, and Sales Team. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefit renewal & new business, implementation, carrier escalations, ACA Reporting & Compliance, employee resources, benefit auditing, & customer service. This role requires a firm attention to detail while being able to adapt to change quickly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Quoting prospective and current clients to carriers.
Creating, maintaining & expanding client facing benefit materials including but not limited to proposals, employee workbooks, financial comparisons, enrollment forms and miscellaneous documents.
Maintaining Carrier Relation data base.
Internal carrier escalation contact for clients including but not limited to: access to care, reinstatement's, billing disputes, etc.
Create the installation census from enrollment forms for carrier installations for PEO and direct to carriers.
Complete employee benefit changes throughout policy year at applicable carriers.
Sending ACA Files monthly for applicable clients.
Auditing the following department areas: Client records, employee information, client billing and additional agency materials.
Maintaining Agency tracking systems and reporting.
Special Projects as assigned from manager.
SKILLS:
Strong computer and organizational skills
Highly proficient in Adobe & Microsoft Office applications, primarily Microsoft Excel, Adobe Applications, Microsoft Word
Types 65 WPM
HRIS Systems experience preferred
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions and comply with company policies
Evaluate processes for improvements and recommend changes to manager
Ability to interact effectively with peers, auditors and various levels of management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED.
2-year degree preferred or comparable work experience
3-5 years in an administrative or customer service role
